O’Shea’s Pub – Borris

Situated on the main street in Borris, this charming rural pub in traditional style has been owned by the O’Shea family for many generations. There is an extensive bar menu on offer, serving quality local produce. A Victorian Parlour/lounge area is a particular feature of the pub as is the maze of tightly packed, brightly painted shelving and the hardware hanging from the ceiling.

Halfway up the steep main street of Borris, this unspoiled old-world grocery-pub is well worth a visit. The old grocery section at the front links into a modern-day shop next door – a very practical arrangement that brings past and present together in a delightful way.
