Ireland Trash Italy in O’Driscoll’s Final Home Match

Ireland thrashed Italy 46-7, with retiring captain Brian O’Driscoll playing in his final home match.  The 35 year-old set up tries for Johnny Sexton and Andrew Timble in his 140th appearance, a world record.  Ireland now sit equal with France and England, who beat Scotland and Wales, respectively, on top of the Six Nations table. All three nations have 6 points, with Ireland having the best points difference, of +81, compared to +32 and +3 for England and France.
